A tragic accident occurred early Friday morning on the road between Endingen and Lengnau.

At around 5:30 AM, two vehicles collided head-on, resulting in the death of one driver at the scene.

The other driver, a woman, sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital.

Authorities closed the road for several hours to investigate the incident and clear the area.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
