A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday evening in Märstetten, Switzerland, when a 24-year-old driver crashed his car into a house, resulting in his immediate death.

The incident took place around 7 PM on Wigoltingerstrasse, where the driver, reportedly speeding, lost control and collided with the building.

Eyewitnesses described the vehicle as modified and traveling at high speeds, with no visible brake marks at the scene.

The crash also injured a 43-year-old resident inside the house, who was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

The Thurgau Cantonal Police are investigating the cause of the accident, and the driver's body has been sent for forensic examination to determine if substances were involved.

The road was temporarily closed for investigation, and significant property damage was reported.
