On Monday evening, a 36-year-old driver collided with a 23-year-old man in a wheelchair at a crosswalk near the "Balgrist" tram stop in Zurich.

The incident occurred around 9:45 PM as the wheelchair user was crossing the street.

The impact caused the man to fall and sustain minor injuries, while his wheelchair was also damaged.

The driver fled the scene without assisting the injured man.

However, the following day, the driver turned himself in to the police.

Authorities are now seeking witnesses to the accident, urging anyone with information to contact the Zurich city police.
