The Canton of Zurich has unveiled its latest agglomeration program, which includes significant investments in public transport and infrastructure.
Among the key projects is the Franca-Magnani Bridge, a 530-meter structure designed to connect districts 4 and 5, with an estimated cost of 80 million Swiss francs.
This initiative aims to enhance cycling and pedestrian access across the city.
The federal government will contribute 30 to 50 percent of the investment costs, continuing its support for regional transport projects.
The public can participate in the consultation process until September 20, providing feedback on the proposed plans, which total over 1.2 billion francs in investments for various transport initiatives.
This program marks a crucial step in improving Zurich's transport network and promoting sustainable mobility.
