A tragic accident occurred in Oberrieden on Monday, resulting in the death of a 5-year-old girl.

The incident took place around noon when a 40-year-old man driving a garbage truck collided with the child at a pedestrian crossing on the Alten Landstrasse.

Despite the swift arrival of emergency services, the young girl succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
