A serious traffic accident occurred on Thursday afternoon in Maschwanden, Switzerland, involving a tractor and a post bus.

The collision happened around 1:50 PM when a 19-year-old tractor driver attempted to turn onto Wolserstrasse and was struck by a post bus traveling in the same direction.

Both the tractor driver and the 37-year-old bus driver sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Fortunately, no passengers were on board the bus at the time.

The accident caused significant damage to both vehicles and required extensive cleanup efforts, including pumping out spilled fluids.

The road remained closed for several hours as emergency services managed the scene and redirected traffic.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
