A severe accident occurred in Koblenz AG on Tuesday afternoon, involving a collision between a car and a post bus, resulting in ten injuries.

The incident took place at 1:30 PM on the Aare Bridge, along the route from Koblenz to Felsenau.

Among the injured were four children, with two individuals, including a child from the bus, sustaining serious injuries and being airlifted to the hospital.

The post bus driver was trapped and required rescue.

The bus, carrying nine passengers, tipped onto its side and came to rest beside the road, prevented from sliding further by nearby trees.

Emergency services, including ambulances, helicopters, and the fire department, responded promptly.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Aargau Cantonal Police.
