A 14-year-old boy in Switzerland was arrested after a dangerous high-speed chase through several villages in the Zurich Oberland.

The teenager, driving a stolen car, reached speeds of over 100 km/h in residential areas, ignoring police orders to stop.

During the pursuit, a police officer narrowly avoided being hit by jumping out of the way.

The chase ended when authorities identified the boy and his residence, choosing to halt the pursuit for safety reasons.

He was arrested the following morning and handed over to juvenile authorities.

The incident has raised concerns about youth crime and road safety.
