Smoke Disrupts Zurich Train Station

A minor fire incident at Zurich's main train station on Sunday morning led to a swift response from firefighters and emergency services.

Smoke was detected in a non-public area of the station's basement, caused by a burning electrical cable.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and the smoke was pumped out.

As a precaution, the main hall was temporarily evacuated, and some services like escalators and lockers were affected due to a localized power outage.

However, train operations remained unaffected, and no injuries were reported.

Authorities confirmed there was no danger to passengers at any time.
