Ex-Comedian Loses License for Reckless Driving

Bendrit Bajra, a former social media star, has been ordered to surrender his driver's license for two years following a ruling by the Zurich High Court.

The 28-year-old was involved in two dangerous stunts on the A1 highway in April 2016, where he filmed himself and a friend engaging in reckless driving.

Despite not initiating the stunts, Bajra was found guilty of gross traffic violations and aiding in such acts.

The court upheld a previous sentence of a 12-month suspended prison term and a conditional fine.

Bajra's defense argued for a reduced penalty, citing his maturity and clean record since the incidents.

However, the court maintained the original sentence, emphasizing his failure to de-escalate the situation.

Bajra's license suspension poses significant professional challenges, as he is self-employed.
