Bigna Silberschmidt, a prominent figure at Swiss public broadcaster SRF, has announced her departure after nearly a decade with the network.

Known for her role as the host of the evening news program "10 vor 10" since 2020, Silberschmidt will leave SRF at the end of February 2025. Her career at SRF began in 2015 as a radio reporter, and she quickly transitioned to television, contributing to programs like "Schweiz aktuell" and "Tagesschau.
