A tragic accident occurred on the A13 motorway near Andeer, Switzerland, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and serious injuries to several others, including children.
The collision happened on Saturday afternoon when a 69-year-old driver veered onto the opposite lane, colliding head-on with a car driven by a 43-year-old man.
Despite attempts to avoid the crash, the impact was severe, leading to the immediate deaths of the 43-year-old driver and his passenger.
The 69-year-old driver, along with her passengers, including two children, sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to nearby hospitals.
Emergency services, including local fire brigades, were on the scene to assist, and traffic was rerouted for several hours.
The Graubünden police, in collaboration with the public prosecutor's office, are investigating the cause of the accident.
