Switzerland is experiencing a mixed bag of weather as the weekend approaches.

While the southern regions, including Ticino and Valais, are set to enjoy sunny skies with temperatures ranging from 8 to 18 degrees Celsius, the northern parts will face more cloud cover and occasional drizzle, especially in northeastern areas.

This weekend offers a brief respite for outdoor enthusiasts, with Saturday being the best day for activities before clouds and rain return on Sunday.

The weather next week will continue to be unpredictable, with sunny spells on Monday and a return to rain by Tuesday.

Despite the fluctuating conditions, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, reaching up to 23 degrees in some areas.

However, the snowline remains low, with fresh snow expected above 1800 meters in the central Alps.
