In Kloten, near Zurich Airport, the Zurich Cantonal Police intervened at an unauthorized car meet-up, inspecting around 175 individuals and 60 vehicles.
The event, which took place on a Saturday night, involved a gathering of modified cars and enthusiasts, causing significant noise disturbances.
Responding to complaints, the police cordoned off the area to prevent further access and conducted thorough checks.
Among the vehicles inspected, eight did not meet technical standards, leading to four drivers being reported.
One car, due to severely worn tires, was towed away.
The vehicles involved came from various parts of German-speaking Switzerland and Germany.
The operation, concluded just before midnight, aimed to enhance road safety by addressing vehicle deficiencies and removing unsafe cars from circulation.
