In Wohlenschwil, Aargau, a bizarre theft left a local farmer, Michael Strickler, bewildered as his entire sheep pasture was dismantled overnight.

On Tuesday evening, Strickler received a call from a neighbor who spotted three of his sheep wandering on a nearby road.

Upon inspection, he discovered that six sheep, 450 meters of fencing, a livestock guardian, and a water trough had vanished.

The stolen fence was later found neatly rolled in a nearby forest, suggesting the involvement of skilled individuals.

The police have launched an investigation, but the motive remains unclear.

Strickler is considering bringing his sheep indoors at night to prevent future incidents.

The local police have confirmed the incident as an isolated case and are seeking any information from the public.
