On Wednesday evening, the popular mountain restaurant Foppa in Flims, Switzerland, was completely destroyed by a fire.
Despite the quick response from the local fire department, the blaze, which started around 8:30 PM, rapidly engulfed the entire building.
Workers from a nearby construction site attempted to control the flames before the firefighters arrived, but their efforts were in vain.
The fire department, supported by a tanker from Ems-Chemie, battled the fire for hours, managing to protect surrounding buildings and trees.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the damage is estimated to exceed one million Swiss Francs.
The Graubünden cantonal police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
