A 28-year-old man has been placed in investigative custody after setting fire to Swiss Army vehicles in Grolley, Fribourg.
The suspect, who acted alone, used homemade incendiary devices made from flammable liquid and digital timers.
These devices were discovered in his apartment in Courtepin, leading to the evacuation of nine residents, who returned safely the same day.
The attack damaged three army vehicles, prompting the Swiss Army to file a criminal complaint.
No injuries were reported, and investigations continue under the Fribourg Public Prosecutor's Office.
