Zurich police successfully intercepted two separate burglary attempts on Wednesday.

In one case, two women were caught trying to enter a residential building in the city center.

Officers, suspicious of their behavior, followed them and found burglary tools in their possession.

Their identities remain unknown, but they are believed to be non-residents of Switzerland.

In another incident in Kreis 11, two girls, aged 11 and 13, were caught breaking into an apartment.

Alerted by a neighbor, police surrounded the building and detained the girls, who are also not Swiss residents.

Authorities suspect the girls may be linked to other burglaries.

Police urge residents to secure doors and windows and report suspicious activity.
