A six-year-old boy suffered severe head injuries after falling from a diving tower ladder at Altstetten indoor swimming pool in Zurich.

The incident occurred on Friday evening, just before 6 PM, when the boy lost his grip while climbing the three-meter diving tower.

Emergency services provided initial treatment on-site before airlifting him to a hospital.

The Zurich city police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall, though no foul play is suspected at this time.
