The iconic Swiss shoe manufacturer Künzli has been saved from closure by entrepreneur Roberto Martullo.
Known for its nearly 100-year history, Künzli faced potential shutdown due to a lack of succession plans.
Martullo, husband of SVP National Councilor Magdalena Martullo-Blocher, will take over the company in January 2025, ensuring the continuation of its legacy.
The transition will be supported by former owner Barbara Artmann, who will assist until mid-2025. This move secures jobs for employees at the Windisch headquarters and maintains production in Albania.
Martullo's acquisition has been met with relief and joy, preserving a beloved Swiss brand for future generations.
