Six members of the far-right group "Junge Tat" have been convicted for disrupting a drag queen reading event and a Pride church service in Zurich.
The Zurich-Sihl public prosecutor's office issued penal orders against the individuals for actions that included racial discrimination and disturbing religious freedom.
These incidents occurred in 2022, with the group attempting to unfurl anti-queer banners and block entrances during the events.
The penalties include fines and day fines ranging from 100 to 180 days.
The group, known for its public provocations, claims the charges are politically motivated and plans to contest them.
Zurich Pride organizers view the convictions as a crucial message against hate-driven disruptions.
