A tragic incident unfolded in Zurich following the Street Parade, as a 40-year-old man was found dead in Lake Zurich.

The man, who attended the parade with friends, went for a swim at Utoquai on Saturday afternoon and subsequently lost contact with his companions.

Concerned, his friends reported him missing to the Zurich city police.

The water protection police conducted several dives in the lake, eventually discovering his body at a depth of six meters on Sunday.

Initial investigations by the police and the Institute of Forensic Medicine indicate that the man drowned.

Meanwhile, other reports of missing persons over the weekend were resolved, with all individuals safely accounted for.

Additionally, a separate incident involved a 29-year-old Czech tourist who was fatally struck by a train near Altstetten station, though its connection to the Street Parade remains unconfirmed.
