Serial Diner Faces Jail Again

A 62-year-old woman in Zurich has been convicted for the 44th time, this time for dining and dashing at a luxury hotel restaurant.

Despite a long-standing ban, she consumed a meal and eight beers at the Radisson Blu near Zurich Airport, leaving without paying the $122 bill.

Known for her repeated offenses, including illegal entry and trespassing, she has spent nearly two decades in and out of court.

The woman claims she intended to pay but was unable to due to lack of funds and missing bank details.

The court sentenced her to 110 days in prison and a fine, though she plans to appeal.

Her case highlights the rarity of such incidents in Switzerland, where dining fraud is uncommon.
