The attack left a five-year-old boy with severe arm injuries and a seven-year-old girl with bites on her arm and leg.
Several adults rushed to the scene upon hearing the children's screams, with a 40-year-old woman also suffering bites while trying to fend off the dog.
The police, upon arrival, managed to capture the dog, but not before a police officer was bitten.
The Rottweiler was later euthanized with the owner's consent.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack and evaluating potential consequences for the dog's owner.
