A tragic accident occurred early Friday morning in Winkel, Switzerland, where a 21-year-old driver lost his life after crashing into a tree.

The incident happened on Zürichstrasse as the young man was driving from Kloten towards Bülach.

For reasons still under investigation, he veered off the road and collided with a tree, resulting in fatal injuries.

The impact was so severe that the car was torn into pieces, scattering debris over several hundred meters.

The Zürichstrasse was closed for several hours as police secured the scene and began their investigation.
